Katrina Kaif to Para-Glide in Dhoom 3

Katrina Kaif has a task cut out for herself in Dhoom 3. She will be required to do a lot of challenging things in the movie.

If getting trained in scuba diving or learning to ride a bike wasn’t enough, Katrina will now reach for the sky and try to learn para-gliding for her role in Dhoom 3 to be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya whose first film as a director, Tashan, failed to make a mark at the box office.

However, the director and producer (Aditya Chopra) have big plans for Dhoom 3, not the least of which is Katrina’s makeover in the movie.

Buzz is that Katrina will be doing incredible stunts in the movie, and her fans will be particularly pleased to know that she might even sing a song. Katrina has already taken her baby steps into the realm of music by learning to play the guitar. Well, at least she can strum after a fashion.

Ironically, though the actress is taking on new challenges, she is a bit squeamish about kissing or donning a bikini.

The movie will have Katrina paired opposite Aamir Khan. This would be their first film together.

Kim Kardashian fancies Salman over ShahRukh

Bollywood producers have been wooing the American socialite Kim Kardashian to make a debut in Hindi films as an item girl.

Item numbers are all the rage in Bollywood blockbusters and can go a long way in pulling the crowds to theatres. And it would be nothing short of a coup of sorts to see Kim Kardashian in a raunchy item number. This idea, seeming so farfetched now, could soon be a reality.

The word is that some of the B-Town producers with deep pockets have been wooing Kim for an item number. But since the reality TV star is clueless about Bollywood, she asked her good friend Sheeraz Hasan for help.

Sheeraz, the chairperson of sheerazinc.com and the founder of Millions of Milkshakes, suggested two names to Kim: Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan. Sheeraz even gave Kim a few of SRK movies on Saturday.

“http://Sheeraz.com just sent me some Bollywood Movies starring Shahrukh Khan. Can't wait to watch them!!!” Kim tweeted on Saturday.

On the next day, Kim got Salman Khan’s movies. And after watching both the stars she is learnt to have opted for Salman Khan to work with first.

Sheeraz Hasan tells a news daily that Kim Kardashian expressed her wish to work with both the Khans, but Salman tops her priority.

Just a few days back, actress Milla Jovovich had expressed her desire to work with Salman.

Seems like Salman is winning pretty admirers in the west.

ShahRukh Khan says he will Quit Smoking after Ra.One Releases

The actor says he will quit smoking after the release of his movie Ra.One.

It’s not rare to see Shahrukh lighting a cigarette. Tension and work load related to the Ra.One release has certainly taken a toll on SRK, who is looking quite thin these days. But the actor claims that he wants to leave this habit. While talking to the press at one of the events, he said, “I am waiting for Ra.One to release and after that I will quit smoking once and for all. At least I will try.”

The first part of his statement bears conviction, but the latter half that he will try, shows uncertainty. However, he is not the only one to say no to smoking; actors Salman Khan and Aamir Khan too are trying to kick the butt.

Salman : I Could Have Landed in a Coma

He is certainly in a better phase, thanks to the surgery which happened at the right time. Salman Khan feels the decision to go to the US for the surgery saved him, otherwise he could have landed in coma.

The Bodyguard star fears that he could have been in Jagjit Singh’s situation.

“I’ve recovered about 60 per cent. There’s no surefire method to cure this. But in hindsight, if I had delayed the surgery, let’s say for another year, who knows? I would have landed in a coma, the way Jagjit Singh is right now,” says Salman Khan, who is suffering from Trigeminal Neuralgia for the last seven years.

Salman Khan again might have to undergo a surgery if the doctors feel so. But as for now, he is doing well.

Shahid and Bipasha Split

Barely months after getting together, Bipasha Basu and Shahid Kapoor are no longer an item.
The break up happened about two weeks ago – just after the release of Mausam and before Bips left for Greece for a shoot. The reason? Apparently Shahid became increasingly indifferent to Bips after the initial excitement of meeting someone new waned.

A source reveals,”Bipasha takes people at face value. Although they were only just getting to know each other, she was keen to see where things would go with Shahid. Post her break-up with John, she wasn’t in a hurry to get into another relationship. She was wary of opening up to someone new, but took a chance with Shahid as he really pursued her at the start.”

However, friends and acquaintances who hung out with the seemingly cosy twosome knew the courtship would be shortlived. The source adds, “They’re like chalk and cheese. Shahid is quite controlling, while Bipasha is a free spirit. After the initial high, Bips realised Shahid was slowly distancing himself from her. She’s not the sort of woman to do things in half measures or stay with a man who does anymore.”

The final straw was a minor fight that took place before Bips took off to Greece. “She was quite upset when it was over, as she didn’t think it would be so soon. This has given her Dum Maro Dum costar Rana Daggubatti the perfect opportunity to play knight in shining armour though. He’s being a good friend to Bipasha and helping her deal with the break up. While Bips was upset with the way Shahid ended things, her friends have told her to think of him as a rebound man and move on with life,” says a close friend.

Salman Khan not 100 percent after Nerve Surgery

Salman Khan, who is back in Mumbai to shoot for the Bigg Boss series, says that he is not 100 per cent better even though his operation for his nerve disorder was successful. Salman attended the launch of the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 5’.

Salman Khan left for the United States of America on August 29 to undergo a complicated surgery to rectify his nerve disorder. Though the surgery was successful, his pain has aggravated since he has begun shooting for Ek Tha Tiger in Dublin.

Speaking to reporters, Salman Khan said, “The surgery was good. After the surgery, there was only 30-40 per cent pain. But as I started shooting in Dublin for my film…the pain increased due to cold weather…it is now 50-60 per cent.”

After few days the actor is expected to return to Dublin, where he is shooting for Kabir Khan`s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. Salman Khan said that he will have to undergo another surgery after three-four months. Ek Tha Tiger, a Yash Raj Films production, stars Salman opposite Katrina Kaif and is expected to release in June 2012.
